ASTERRA utilizes satellite imagery and AI to help utility companies locate underground water leaks and monitor critical infrastructure. Their previous customer portal was so unintuitive and difficult to use that it required an ASTERRA salesperson to walk clients through their own data. I led the complete redesign of the platform, tasked with transforming this complex, high-volume geospatial data into an intuitive, self-serve experience. 

Driving the end-to-end UX and UI based on direct client interviews, I defined the user flows, dashboards, and scalable UI patterns, prioritizing hierarchy, legibility, and ease of use. The resulting design system balances precision with restraint, allowing the data to lead while maintaining a cohesive visual language. The portal successfully transforms a highly technical product into an accessible, award-winning platform built for clarity, growth, and long-term usability.
