The Vita Coco Community Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Vita Coco, focused on expanding access to clean water and supporting coconut-growing communities through sustainable development initiatives. They partnered with VSSL to design a scalable digital home for the foundation, with the goal of creating a more cohesive, accessible platform that could better communicate impact and support ongoing storytelling around their work.

I led design for the website, working closely with the Vita Coco team to translate the foundation’s mission into a clear, emotionally resonant digital experience. The system was designed to balance structured information with storytelling-led moments that highlight community impact, while introducing moments of delight through interaction and subtle animation to bring the experience to life. A modular design system was developed to support evolving content needs, allowing the foundation to publish initiatives, updates, and impact stories without compromising consistency.

The final experience brings together a clean, accessible interface with a more expressive visual rhythm that reflects the global nature of the foundation’s work. The system was designed to scale alongside the organization, providing a flexible framework for ongoing storytelling while reinforcing credibility, transparency, and trust across audiences.
